# Tokenomics

HeraFinance is governed and driven by a native utility and governance token that sits at the center of the protocol's incentive architecture. The token aligns the long-term interests of liquidity providers, farmers, developers, and the broader community — rewarding participation, securing governance rights, and funding continued protocol development.

## Distribution

The total token supply is allocated across six categories designed to balance growth, sustainability, and decentralization:

| Category | Allocation |
| ------------------- | ---------: |
| Ecosystem & Rewards | 30% |
| Liquidity | 20% |
| Team & Advisors | 15% |
| Development | 15% |
| Seed Sales | 10% |
| Marketing | 10% |

## Category Descriptions

* **Ecosystem & Rewards (30%):** The largest allocation is dedicated to incentivizing protocol participation. These tokens are distributed to lenders, farmers, and community contributors over time, creating a sustainable reward flywheel that drives protocol growth.
* **Liquidity (20%):** Reserved to bootstrap and maintain deep on-chain liquidity across key trading pairs, ensuring token accessibility and market stability from launch through maturity.
* **Team & Advisors (15%):** Allocated to the founding team and strategic advisors, subject to a vesting schedule that aligns long-term commitment with protocol success.
* **Development (15%):** Funds ongoing protocol development, infrastructure, tooling, and future feature work managed by the HeraFinance core team.
* **Seed Sales (10%):** Allocated to early supporters and strategic backers who provided foundational capital and guidance during the protocol's formation.
* **Marketing (10%):** Reserved for community growth initiatives, partnerships, campaigns, and brand-building activities that expand the HeraFinance ecosystem.
