# Introduction

## What is HeraFinance?

HeraFinance is a leveraged yield farming protocol built on BNB Chain, designed to give liquidity providers and yield farmers the tools to maximize their capital efficiency without sacrificing simplicity. Operating under the tagline "Sovereign Yield Protocol," HeraFinance enables users to amplify their farming positions through integrated lending and borrowing mechanisms — all within a single, unified platform.

## The Problem We Solve

Decentralized finance has unlocked new financial primitives, but yield farming remains fragmented, capital-intensive, and technically complex. Farmers must coordinate across multiple protocols for lending, borrowing, and liquidity deployment. Position management is largely manual. Risk tools are scattered or absent altogether. The result is an ecosystem that rewards sophisticated actors while leaving everyday users underserved.

## Our Vision

HeraFinance was founded on a simple belief: the power of leveraged yield farming should be accessible to everyone. We are building the infrastructure to democratize capital-efficient farming on BNB Chain — removing friction, automating complexity, and delivering returns that were previously reserved for protocol insiders and DeFi power users.

## Our Mission

Our mission is to provide every user — whether a DeFi native or a curious newcomer — with a secure, optimized, and accessible path to yield amplification. We accomplish this by combining integrated lending pools, automated compounding, and proactive risk management into one cohesive protocol. HeraFinance is not just a product; it is a commitment to a more sovereign financial future for all participants in decentralized markets.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://heraxfinance.gitbook.io/hera-docs/introduction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
